Helping us maintain your home
From time to time we need to access your home to maintain it, to complete repairs, or to keep you safe with testing and checks to things like your electrics.
We regularly visit homes for appointments and unfortunately no one is around to let us in. This means that time is lost, both for the original appointment and for when it is rescheduled.
We want to help customers with their repairs and other issues in their homes. Making sure you are home for your appointment or letting us know in advance if you will not be able to make your slot will help us to do this, and get your repair or check sorted as quickly as possible.

Coming soon: Appointment tracking
We are looking forward to launching a new feature in 2025 to help you track where the LiveWest colleague visiting your home to complete a repair is. You will receive a text notification when they are on the way to your home, and you will be able to see how far away they are.
This will help to give you more flexibility in going about your day whilst you are waiting. So if you need to pop to the shop to get some milk, you will know if you have time.
We will be sharing more information about this soon, so keep an eye out for more.
Alterations to your home
There may be occasions you would like to make changes or alterations to your home. These could include getting lifts or hoists installed, or a new bathroom. Please remember you will need to speak to us before making these improvements to your home.
