Keeping you safe in your home is a priority for us. As part of this commitment, we are continuing to update the Your safety section of our website with information and advice to help keep you safe. You can read some of our latest updates below.
Appointments
If you have an appointment for us to visit your home to carry out a repair or for a safety inspection, it is important you keep to the date and time we give you. If you are not at home for the appointment, we will not be able to complete the appointment and keep you safe. Please contact us if you will not be in for your scheduled appointment. Read more about appointments and how they help to keep you safe.
Gardens
As the weather gets warmer, you might be spending more time outside in your garden or outside spaces. Make sure you stay safe when in outside spaces, especially when gardening or using tools outside. Read our advice for staying safe in your garden.
Safety device costs
There are a range of safety devices which may be installed in your home, including smoke alarms, carbon monoxide alarms, and extractor fans or vents. It is important these are kept switched on at all times to keep you safe, for example from damp and mould. With the rise in cost of living some are turning safety devices off to try and save money, however the very small savings you will make are not worth the risk. Read more about the cost of these devices.
