LiveWest Land team

Do you have land to sell?

LiveWest are actively seeking land where we can build sustainable communities for the future across our Southwest geographical area (Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Bristol, and South Gloucestershire).

We are interested in land with and without planning permission, including opportunities regarding potential joint ventures with landowners and commercial partners.

Our highly experienced team has planning and technical expertise, and can swiftly convert new opportunities to legal completion and engage with local authorities, and key stakeholders at any stage of the planning cycle.

Our ambitions are to provide 7,000 greatly needed homes over the next 5 years to help the current UK housing shortage. These homes will be built across a range of open market sale and affordable tenure types, and on a variety of sites from rural exception sites through to large scale regeneration, urban extension, new town, and greenfield developments.

We have been acquiring land for the development of open market homes for over 17 years. The profits generated are reinvested back into our affordable housing supply for those in greatest need, to invest in ongoing long-term stewardships in the communities we create, ensuring we provide great places where people want to live and call home.

If you have land to sell, whether with or without planning permission, or requiring promotion, our Land team would love to hear from you.

Making a sustainable difference

Sustainable homes, neighbourhoods and communities are at the heart of our commitment to deliver a home for everyone.

As the largest housing provider in the South West, we launched our environmental strategy through a genuine belief we have a collective responsibility for ensuring we contribute to sustaining the environment.

We recognise our responsibility to improve and have a positive impact on the lives of our customers, our communities and our planet. We strive to maximise our social value, good governance and environmental responsibility.

LiveWest subscribed to the Sustainable Homes Index for Tomorrow (SHIFT), which is a sustainability standard for the housing sector. It is recognised by our regulator the Homes and Communities Agency and backed by the Government. SHIFT provides businesses with an independent assessment of their environmental performance and works collaboratively to define actions for improvement. We are proud to confirm we have recently been accredited SHIFT Silver following our first assessment.
