We recently helped Agnieszka Smolinska and her family step onto the property ladder through a shared ownership home at our affordable development in Wellington.
After having rented for many years, Agnieszka and her family wanted to find a permanent home in the area close to family. When shared ownership homes became available in Wellington, the family applied for a two-bedroom property, which they were delighted to be successful in.
They have now moved into their new home and are already feeling settled in and connected to their local community.
Agnieszka said: “It’s very homely so it just feels like home already and the town is lovely. The community is nice to live in and I’ve already met some of my neighbours. We’ve got this community garden which is lovely, and we’ve got this beautiful park which is amazing.
“We’re so happy here because there’s lots of green space and it’s very quiet but we have all the shops we need nearby. We feel it’s close enough to everything it’s the perfect spot.
“We’re really glad we made the move and it’s worked out well. We love it here and we don’t want to live anywhere else. It’s the perfect match for us.”
