The accommodation is located at the rear of the main site and is accessed via the main building reception, via a courtyard garden. Accommodation is made up of two separate blocks, each over three floors). Unfortunately there is no lift within this accommodation. Block A has six flats, each with two bedrooms.This block has a maximum occupation 12 people in total. Block B has six flats – four are single occupancy and two have two bedrooms shared. This block has a maximum occupancy eight people in total. The accommodation block B also has a training kitchen, laundry room, and storage rooms for the estate management team. There is a covered Bike Rack in the Courtyard for safe storage of bicycles.
We have a 24 hour support team and we have a concierge outside of our support rota. The Foyer also offers facilities that can be accessed by young people, including a meeting space with various games and creative activities as well as gym equipment and a large sports hall. Our sports hall and meeting room can be hired by local community.
The training room is equipped with laptops and resources for young people to access IT facilities. Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the building and accommodation.
Referrals to the Foyer are via Torbay’s Youth Homelessness Prevention Panel and Children’s Services.
Torbay Foyer is Ofsted registered and accredited by Foyer Federation.
