To help our customers with the rent increase from April 2024, we have set aside a fund of £350,000 to the Tenancy Support Fund (TSF). The TSF is available to customers who do not have their housing costs covered in full by either Universal Credit or Housing Benefit and are facing financial difficulties.
What to expect during the application process
We anticipate that there will be high demand for this fund so we will aim to get back to you within 5 working days following your application.
We will discuss your financial circumstances with you and assess the affordability of your accommodation.
Your application will be reviewed by one of the department managers after one month. The agreed award will then be credited to your rent account within 7 days.
