Wearing a face covering when we visit your home

We are asking customers to wear face coverings when we are in your home, where possible

The safety of our customers, colleagues and those who work with us is our priority. As we continue to adapt our ways of working to protect you, we are now asking our customers to wear a face covering and be in a different room when we visit your home.

We have made this decision because we want to take all possible precautions to protect both you and our colleagues when they are in your home, given the current challenges with the latest strain of coronavirus (Covid-19).

We understand that in some circumstances, customers may not be able to wear a face covering, these include:
•    children under the age of 11 (Public Health England does not recommend face coverings for children under the age of 3 for health and safety reasons)
•    people who cannot put on, wear or remove a face covering because of a physical or mental illness or impairment, or disability
•    where putting on, wearing or removing a face covering will cause you severe distress.

If you are not able to wear a face covering, we would ask you and your household to maintain social distancing and preferably, move to a different room in your home whilst we complete the repair.

Whilst we are continuing to offer our full repairs service, if your repair is not urgent and you can delay your call, this will certainly help us to prioritise those in the most need. You can find a list of the repairs we can complete here.
