We have launched a new virtual viewings service for customers interested in buying a shared ownership or an open market home from us.
In response to the government lockdown and new guidance for prospective home buyers, we have set up a virtual viewing service after partnering up with media company, View It 360.
This allows potential owners to ‘visit’ new homes without actually stepping foot in the property.
Customers can request a virtual walk through on our new homes, with the viewings enabling one of our sales consultants to guide buyers through properties and answer any questions.
This technology allows customers to view the interior and exterior of the home, with prerecorded footage of each room.
The tour starts outside and walks the customer through the front door before the video takes them around the property to give them a comprehensive look at the whole home. Floor plans, brochures and still photos are also provided.
Customers can access the virtual viewing using any smartphone or PC device, allowing them to connect from anywhere.
In line with a normal viewing, the virtual tour can take however long the customers requires - whether that be 10 minutes, 20 minutes or an hour or more.

“Despite the government lockdown, we realise people are still looking for and wanting to buy homes and we continue to receive many enquiries.
“So we have launched a special virtual viewing service across our portfolio of homes which will help to show customers around some of our shared ownership or outright sale properties.
“Our customers want to view our homes, yet stay safe from coronavirus, so the launch of this virtual viewing service is an innovative solution to help meet this demand.”

The available tours will be added to the Homes to buy section of our website, so customers can view them at a time most convenient for them.
We are also considering continuing to use this service after lockdown is lifted to help give customers greater flexibility around their busy lives.
