Visiting your home for repairs and appointments

Everything you need to know to help your appointment go smoothly

From time to time we may need to visit your home for an appointment. This could be for a repair you have asked us to complete, for a scheduled annual safety check, or for another reason.

If we have made an appointment with you, please make sure that you are in and can allow us access to your home to carry out the appointment.

If you do need to cancel or amend an existing repair appointment, please contact us as soon as you can so that we can rearrange your appointment. This will also give us a chance to fill the appointment slot that is no longer suitable for you.

We are currently experiencing a higher number of repair requests than normal, so ensuring you are in for your appointment will help us to complete as many appointments for customers as possible.

Some appointments we make are also essential for us to complete from a safety perspective. Electrical testing (for example Electrical Installation condition reports), gas checks and other similar checks need to be completed regularly, so we do need to be able to access your home to check everything is working correctly and safely.

If you are at all concerned about letting anyone who claims to be from LiveWest into your home, please ask to see their identity card. If they do not have a card, or if you are worried, do not let them into your home. Call us and we will be happy to confirm if someone from LiveWest was due to visit.
