As part of our commitment to building homes and communities where our customers want to live, we encourage our workforce to take part in regular volunteering days within the communities we support and give back to our customers. Last month a group of colleagues came together at Lodge Court in Taunton to give the courtyard a new lease of life.
Shona Stone, LiveWest Community Connector said; ‘’Despite the threat of rain, our group of LiveWest colleague volunteers put their sanding and varnishing skills to good use. We intended to refurbish two benches but we managed to refurbish four chairs and a table as well. Massive thanks to the volunteers who braved the weather and gave up their time. One of the customers even came out to help us with the sanding, which was fantastic! I could tell our customers were grateful for all our hard work, a great job well done!’’
