Terms and Conditions for Countrywide Package

1. Introduction 

1.1. These terms and conditions (the "Terms") govern the use of the estate agent services (the "Services") arranged by LiveWest ("we", "us", "our") on behalf of the customer ("you", "your"). 

1.2. By accepting and utilising the Services provided by the estate agent, you agree to be bound by these Terms. 

2. Contractual Relationship 

2.1. The contract for the Services will be directly between you and Countrywide, as recommended by us. 

2.2. We act as a facilitator in connecting you with Countrywide and are not a party to the contract between you and them. 

2.3. All terms, conditions, and obligations between you and Countrywide will be detailed in a separate agreement, which you will be required to enter into directly with them. 

3. Minimum Tie-In Period 

3.1. You agree to a minimum tie-in period of three (3) months (the "Tie-In Period") during which you will not terminate the agreement with Countrywide. 

3.2. The Tie-In Period begins on the date the agreement with Countrywide is signed. 

3.3. During the Tie-In Period, you shall not instruct another estate agent to sell or let your property. 

4. Termination and Penalties 

4.1. If you terminate the agreement with Countrywide before the expiration of the Tie-In Period, you may be liable to pay an early termination fee as stipulated in your agreement with the them. 

4.2. Countrywide reserves the right to enforce the Tie-In Period as per their contractual terms with you. 

4.3. After the Tie-In Period, you may terminate the agreement with Countrywide by providing the required notice as specified in your contract with them. 

5. Estate Agent’s Fees and Charges 

5.1. All fees, commissions, and charges payable to the estate agent for the Services will be detailed in the contract between you and Countrywide 

5.2. You acknowledge that we are not responsible for any fees or charges associated with the Services provided by Countrywide. 

6. Liability 

6.1. We are not responsible for any actions, omissions, or conduct of Countrywide or for the quality of the Services provided by them. 

6.2. Any disputes arising from the Services must be resolved directly between you and the estate agent. 
7. Data Protection 

7.1. Your personal information may be shared with Countrywide for the purpose of providing the Services. 

7.2. We will handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which can be found here.

8. Governing Law 

8.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. 

8.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom. 

9. Amendments 

9.1. We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any amendments will be communicated to you in writing and will take effect upon such communication.
