We're launching a Christmas Kindness competition to celebrate incredible people across our communities who you think deserves some recognition.
Is there someone in your community who would be a worthy winner?
The wellbeing of our communities is our priority and LiveWest is looking for extraordinary acts of kindness from our customers.
We want to hear about those people who have gone above and beyond to help someone, a group or perhaps an organisation, in its time of need. We would like to recognise those whose dedication and hard work has made a situation better for someone and brought a smile to their face.
Whether they have taken time to volunteer in their community, helped with someone’s shopping or provided emotional support to others. We want to hear from neighbours, parents and siblings about heart-warming tales of kindness.
It could be that an act of kindness has improved the wellbeing of a community, someone calling on a person for a chat or supporting someone physically or mentally with their wellbeing. It could be spreading some Christmas cheer or supporting a community group this winter.
The kindness competition is open to anyone to nominate a LiveWest customer, and we will be awarding the winners each with a shopping voucher towards their Christmas shop.
People can enter through the form on our website and tell us why yourself or someone else deserves to win a kindness award.
Leanda Flower, our Community Investment Manager, said: “We know there are lots of people within our communities who carry out small acts of kindness that make a big difference and we would like to thank them by providing them with a token of our appreciation in the run up to Christmas.
“I hope many people take advantage of this opportunity to say a special thank you to the people who have helped them.
“We’re passionate about the efforts people have made to support our communities and we would like to recognise those people who deserve to be praised for all their hard work.
“It’s truly inspiring to hear of the countless people who have made a positive difference to so many people.
“We would like to hear more of these stories and encourage people to apply and nominate their champion of kindness.”
