Wendy Newing, a LiveWest customer has recently achieved runner up position in a photograph competition with Outdoor Photography magazine and had her work published this magazine.

Alison Knight, Community Connector said: “I am delighted to hear that Wendy successfully achieved the runner up award and had her photograph has been published in this month’s edition of Outdoor Photography magazine. LiveWest funded a £500 photography bursary which has helped Wendy to continue to develop her photography skills, boost her self-esteem and hopefully generate some extra income to feed back into her photography expenses.''

Wendy Newing said: ‘’My LiveWest bursary has helped me to cover the cost of professional photographic printing inks, framing, enter competitions and pay for a subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud, which I use to edit my photographs. As a pensioner I was unable to afford the cost of photographic ink for my photo printer, but thanks to my LiveWest bursary, my printed photographs are now displayed and for sale in local venues, as well as being featured in Devon Life magazine, The International Garden Photographer of the Year website and in their coffee table book.’’

Well done Wendy and congratulations!
