LiveWest staff volunteers help to build a stunning summerhouse at Stoke House in Cornwall

02 May 2018

LiveWest staff volunteers teamed up with our grounds maintenance specialist partners, CORMAC, to develop the garden at Stoke House in Cornwall, where they built a brand new play space, a mini summerhouse for children living there. LiveWest provided £210 worth of grant funding to Stoke House, which customers used to buy gardening tools, plants, seeds, compost and a mini greenhouse.

Mai Evans, LiveWest Community Development Worker said: ‘’I can see that children in this scheme will really enjoy using the improved play space. Our customers now have tools to help them tend to the plants and we have given all the families here the brilliant opportunity to develop their gardening skills.’’

Nick Trembath, LiveWest customer said: "It's great to get all this help and the grant, we're raring to go now to transform the garden. It's going to be a lovely space for all the families to relax in."
